Honor Guard
Sheriff Bellotti's Honor Guard is a specially trained ceremonial unit of
officers who, at the request of the sheriff, participate in formal events such
as parades, charitable and civic events, public safety dedications and
funerals.
The unit's 14 members, assigned by Sheriff Bellotti, received new uniforms from
the sheriff in 2001. The dark blue jackets, pants, hats and shirts with gold
accessories reflect the tradition and pride of the Sheriff's Office.
Requests for Honor Guard participation can be made by calling the Sheriff's
Office at 781-329-3705 x258.
