Each child may choose one week to attend. *For a complete description of the academy see below.
Registration this year will be in 2 phases.
Phase 1- From March 22nd to March 29th at 3:00 pm- Pre-registration. Create an account and fill out family and household information. Please note that at this time you cannot pick a session. At 3:00 pm, March 29th, the registration site will close down to allow for maintenance.
Phase 2- March 29th at 9pm- Open registration. At this time you will be able to pick a session and complete information to register your child. Unfortunately this program tends to sell out very quickly and then allows you the option to register for a place on the waitlist. We do our best to bring people in off the waitlist and into a session when a space opens up. If however your child is on the waitlist and does get to attend this year, they are guaranteed a place in next year’s academy.

**The Youth Leadership Academy is more than a recreational camp for kids. It is designed to help youths age 10-to-14 develop the crucial skills needed in the modern world. Using a specially designed low and high ropes course, participants in the academy learn to overcome challenges and then reflect on what they learned and the skills they needed for those challenges. This helps children set goals and come up with strategies on how to achieve these goals. The high ropes course offers a more personal challenge and involves climbs of up to 40 feet in the air while wearing safety equipment. Participants are never forced to climb. Everything is presented as Challenge-By-Choice, which means the participants choose their own goal and push themselves to get there, which is a great way to improve self-confidence and personal goal-setting and ambition.
